That´s me
Chris van der Hoff
As an internationally certified MBS Feldenkrais Practitioner & Trainer, I have extensive expertise in body-oriented methods. In my own practice, the Feldenkrais Centrum in Beverwijk, NL, as well as in two shared practices in Vienna, I work with my clients.

My professional development
Since the beginning of my career, I have been fascinated by the interaction between body, mind, and emotions. After my training as a Cesar therapist (1984–1987) and a specialization in Haptonomy (1999–2001), I discovered the MBS Feldenkrais Method in 2003. Under the guidance of my wonderful trainer Mia Segal (1934–2025), the first and long-time assistant of Moshe Feldenkrais, I deepened my understanding of movement patterns, functionality, awareness, and personal development. Since then, I have been supporting clients and students worldwide in improving their body awareness, posture, and well-being.

My approach & focus areas
With my many years of experience, I support people in prevention and rehabilitation with various concerns – from back, neck, and shoulder problems to breathing and stress-related issues.
Passing on knowledge: My work as a trainer & mentor
As a trainer and mentor, I pass on my knowledge to the next generation of Feldenkrais professionals through advanced training and education in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, California, and South Korea. In addition to the profound manual techniques and the understanding that everything in the body is interconnected, I place special emphasis on teaching the interaction between movement, perception, thinking, and feeling.
